This policy explains what information Fix It 44 LLC, doing business as Kelvex Heating & Air, collects and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact information you give us: name, business name, phone, email and service address.
- Service information: equipment details, site notes, inspection findings and photographs of equipment taken during service.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe, Inc. We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card. We do not collect or store full card numbers.
How we use it
- To schedule and perform the services you request
- To prepare quotes, invoices and inspection reports
- To contact you about work in progress, scheduled maintenance and follow-up
- To maintain equipment service history for your property
- To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade contact lists. We do not send marketing email to customers who have not asked for it.
Who we share it with
We share information only where necessary to run the business:
- Payment processing: Stripe, Inc. (see the Stripe privacy policy)
- Property owners and managers: where you are a tenant and the owner or manager is responsible for the equipment, service records may be shared with them
- Suppliers: equipment details necessary to order correct parts
- Legal and professional: our accountant, insurer, or where required by law
Photographs
We photograph equipment as part of inspection and repair documentation. These photographs show equipment and its condition. They are retained as part of the service record and may be included in reports provided to you or to the property owner. We do not publish customer photographs without permission.
Retention
Service and financial records are retained for at least seven years to meet tax, insurance and warranty obligations. Equipment service history may be retained longer where it remains useful to maintaining that equipment.
Website
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request as part of delivering the font. The contact form sends its contents by email; it does not create an account or store data on this site.
Your choices
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email michael@kelvexhvac.com and we will respond within 30 days.
